I will be covering all about the internship and its authenticity throughout today’s blog post. I accomplished the marketing internship 2 months ago and here is my honest review.
Learnx Internship Details
Learnx is a learning website that offers courses online, and you will get involved with its marketing and HRM role. This will be an overall remote position for a minimum of 1-2 months. Moreover, you can start it as a part-time job without affecting your studies and jobs.
However, I haven’t personally tried the courses, but there are multiple courses on various topics from Excel, and graphic designing to Python, web development, etc.
Overall, the internship offers currently have openings for marketing interns and HRM Interns. However, some people have claimed, that the HRM Intern is almost close to a sales role.
The responsibility for both roles includes selling 3 courses during the Internship. Now, Let’s understand its stipend structure and its legitimacy.
Learnx Internship Stipend Structure
On the official page and other job listing portals, we have found that Learnx is offering approximately 13k INR as a Stipend. However, this would be less than 1k in reality for a marketing role, But they also claimed, they pay for performance-based, If you worked well, you will get performance-based Incentives.
In the case of the HRM role, you will be responsible for selling 1 course online to get the approval for the internship. After that, you will be assigned to sell more than 3 courses and need to add 10 engaging members to Learnx.
This HRM role is pretty much like a sales Intern role. Let’s understand whether I would recommend the internship or not.
Learnx Internship is Real or Fake?
Learnx Internship is indeed real, but you will feel like wasting your time in an HRM role. This is because of their motive for such an Internship, I accomplished the Internship 2 months ago.
No offence, I received a certification from Learnx and an 800 INR Stipend. Although, I helped them in selling more than 4 courses online, but didn’t receive any Incentive as a performance-based reward.
I don’t say, this is a waste of time and energy. I would rather say, that if you seeking any kind of marketing role as an Intern, then you should grab the opportunity. On the other hand, I would not recommend you for the HRM role.
There are lots of reviews online claiming that, as far as their aim is clear. They are more likely to make you work hard to get their courses via phone calling and adding people online.
Learnx Internship Review
Learnx Internship is not good for HRM roles, as there are lots of important roles in HRM that need interns to improve via internships. But you won’t get that opportunity for this. I would not recommend you for the HRM role.
Apart from this, if you are thinking of getting into a marketing role. Then I would say, you need to work hard to sell the courses, and you may get less than a 1k stipend as an Intern at the end of the Internship.
Now, the choice is yours. Take your time to think about whether you want to apply or not. I would recommend you when you are not getting any internship happy to get whatever you get.
